There is a primary school in the village and a bus service is provided to the local college in Vic Sur Cère. The nearest towns are Thiezac (5km), where there is a doctors' surgery, chemist and village shop. At Vic sur Cere (10km away) there are schools, banks and a supermarket. These are also avvailable in the opposite direction in the old town of Murat (14km away). In the winter and summer season there are shops and restaurants open at the ski resort of Le Lioran which is only 5 km away.

Nearest airports are Clermont Ferrand, Rodez, Brive, Limoges.
