The Lac de Rillé, near this property, was classified as an outstanding ornithological reserve in 2000. The region is also renowned for its exceptional Loire valley wines and, of course, its popularity as a sophisticated tourist destination. The motor racing town of Le Mans is approximately an hour to the north.
