The property is situated on the outskirts of the small friendly town of Saujon and all every-day amenities are available within a 5 minute drive. If you enjoy walking or cycling there are many quiet country roads through lovely countryside or vineyards which are immediately accessible. If you like a challenge, the cycle ride to Royan or St.Georges is a must. Wonderful! The town has frequent outdoor music evenings and markets. Also canoeing and tele-water skiing. Walking into the town takes around 10 minutes. If you are having lots of visitors, the Auberge du Moulin, a lovely "logements" hotel/restaurant on the edge of a pretty canal, just down the road from us, would be the perfect place to occasionally dine at and as somewhere for a surplus of visitors to stay. We are within an hour of La Rochelle and Bordeaux airports and have a railway station with links to the rest of France. We are also within 20 minutes of the A10, Paris/Bordeaux motorway.
