Pellegrue is a small village built around a bastide square where you will find a cafe and a popular wine bar, a newsagents, bakery, garage, supermarket and pharmacy. A small medical centre is currently being established. Nearby are two larger towns/villages; Monsegur, which is highly sought after with both second home owners and the international community and Sauveterre de Guyenne, a wine making town in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. You are equidistant between Bergerac and the beautiful city of Bordeaux, both of which have international airports and within striking distance of the Atlantic coast line should you fancy a day at the beach.
