The town has a 2 star, Logis hotel and several restaurants including a gourmet restaurant. There is a good road to St-Maximin, the nearest town, which takes 22 minutes. The town Is located at junction 34 of the A8, with easy access to Aix-En-Provence. Rians itself is 45 minutes from Aix-En-Provence, 1 hour from Marignane (Marseille airport) and 1 hour 45 minutes from Nice.
Rians is also close to the Luberon and is 45 minutes from Manosque, where there is an international school and a new hospital.
