Chalet Helene was completely renovated in 2014-15 to the highest of standards (all plans and details of the development are available on request). The chalet is in a beautiful setting in the village of Gys which is very conveniently situated for access to the Morzine and Portes du Soleil skiing areas.

Chalet Helene is situated in the village of Gys, a short distance from Le Biot.The house is a 20min walk/5min drive to Le Biot, where there is a bakery and general store/restaurant/bar/takeaway pizza, plus a charcuterie. It is around 15-20min by car to St. Jeans D'Aulps where there are lots of larger shops and restaurants/bars.

The chalet is approximately 1 hour from Geneva Airport and 20-30min to Morzine ski area, or to the Ardent Lifts Car Park, leading and linking up with the whole of the Portes Du Soleil. From the house one can be skiing in 30min in the winter, mountain biking on the mountains in Summer, or sun-bathing in 20min on the beaches around Lake Geneva. The area is beautiful and there is lots to do, from skiing and winter sports, to walking and mountain biking in the summer, with plenty of water sports thrown in.
