Take a break at one of many cafes and restaurants serving food made with delicious local produce. Summer fetes and festivals, car boot sales, antique fairs, annual fairs and weekly food and produce markets abound. The town of Airvault (5 miles) has all you need for everyday purposes - supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, doctors' surgeries, DIY store, bars, restaurants and more. Poitiers airport is around 1 hour away and the adjacent city of Poitiers is a departmental capital with a vast array of shops, services and entertainment facilities.
