There are plenty of things to see and do in and around Saint-Saud-Lacoussiere, especially during the holiday season. Between La Bucherie and St-Saud is the Grand Etang, a beautiful 30 acre public swimming lake with a man-made beach and other seasonal facilities, toilets and showers, life guard, ice cream, drinks and ''La Paillote'' a very popular restaurant, which is typically French and very popular with the locals. Saint-Saud also has an Arboretum and the ‘’Trou de Phillipou’’ a renowned beauty spot next to the river Dronne.
