Bellac, 17 km away, is photogenic with its old bridge over the river Vincou and its hilltop houses around Notre-Dame church which houses the ancient reliquary of Limousin. Here you also have Jean Giraudoux's house/museum and an annual July festival is dedicated to theatre and jazz.
