Vineyard View Studio has been created at the southern end of our house within what used to be an attached barn - it has all modern comforts (heating, ensuite shower/WC, kitchenette with kitchen sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, hotplate and cutlery and crockery and pans etc, table and chairs etc) with a huge (190 x 200) comfortable double bed (which can be divided to offer two single beds if required) The view over the valley is wonderful - you can sometimes watch the deer grazing the vines, or see magnificent sunsets. Enjoy peace and quiet in our private comfortable Studio with books and games for that occasional lazy evening or use it as a base to explore this fascinating area of Nouvelle Aquitaine, taste our famous wines, and maybe find that perfect property for your own tranquil corner of SW France.


ABOUT THE AREA

The village of Le Fleix, on the right bank of the river Dordogne is a peaceful place that offers a mini supermarket, a butcher, a baker, a pharmacist, a wine cooperative, a bookshop, and a post office (within the Mairie) Within easy driving time are Bergerac (historic town with twice weekly markets), St Foy la Grande (a superb Saturday market) and many famous wine-producing areas such as St Emilion, Entre deux Mers, Pecharmant etc. Bergerac and Bordeaux airports are easily accessible.
